Bolivia, considered the "Tibet of South America," is landlocked and mountainous.  The population is about 8.6 million, 70% of whom live at an altitude of 10,000 feet or higher.  Although 75% of the population claims to be Roman Catholic, few practice their religion.  There is freedom to spread the Gospel.  The first assembly was founded in 1915 and today there are 350; there are 20 national workers.
