Argentina is said
to be more prosperous, educated, and industrialized than most Latin
American nations. Four times the size of Texas, most of the people
live in the eastern central region on the fertile, rolling pampas.
In spite of the fact that 88% of the population of 36.9 million is Roman
Catholic, there is freedom of religion although there is considerable
indifference. Assembly work was established in the country over 100
years ago. There are now over 1200 assemblies and approximately 150
national workers.
