Angola is one of the larger countries in Africa (about three times the size of California), but its population is only about 13.1 million.  Travel within the country by missionaries is limited, yet the assemblies go on with the help of national workers.  Portuguese is the official language, but Umbundu, Chokwe, Kimbundu, Kikongo, Gangela, and Kwanyana are major national languages and Songo, Luvale, and other smaller groups, up to 70 dialects, are used.
