Ecuador is equal to the state of Arizona in area, with a population of about 12.6 million people.  Few live in the "Oriente," or jungle area east of the Andes mountains.  Liberty for the Gospel has been granted for many years, although Roman Catholicism is definitely the dominant religion of 94% of the people.  There are 20 assemblies in the country.
