southern end of Central America with a population of 4.2 million people.
Roman Catholicism is very strong in this Spanish-speaking land.
Religious liberty has been somewhat curbed in recent years with
restrictions in force on the entrance of new evangelical workers, but new
regulations are to be announced in the new year.
The first assembly workers living permanently in Costa Rica arrived in
1973. Today there are six assemblies.
