Zimbabwe is a landlocked country in southern Africa slightly smaller than the state of California with a population of 12.6 million people.  English is the official language but Sindebele and Shona are spoken by the majority.  Assembly work began in 1902 and there are now about 20 assemblies in the country.  There is opportunity for teaching Bible in the schools as well as many other avenues of service.  Many Emmaus Bible Correspondence Courses go out in English and Shona languages.
