Zimbabwe is a
landlocked country in southern Africa slightly smaller than the state of
California with a population of 12.6 million people. English is the
official language but
Sindebele and Shona are spoken by the majority. Assembly work began
in 1902 and there are now about 20 assemblies in the country. There
is opportunity for teaching Bible in the schools as well as many other
avenues of service. Many Emmaus Bible Correspondence Courses go out
in English and Shona languages.
