Venezuela lies along the northern coast of South America with a population of 25.7 million.  Venezuela is more than twice the size of California.  76% of the population live in modern, attractive, urban centers in the north.  Spanish is the official language of this predominantly Roman Catholic country.  The first North American missionaries arrived in 1910.  Today there are 150 assemblies and 19 national couples who work with the foreign missionaries.
